National Flag Square occupies part of Baku's southern waterfront, near Crystal Hall. The flag and its tall pole can be seen from parts of the bay, making the square a reference point on the wider seafront.

From this part of the shore, central Baku appears at a different angle. That wider view is also a reminder of the distances involved. The square is farther from the Old City than the central section of the Boulevard, so adding it to a walk needs a little planning. Check current public access and allow enough time for the journey, particularly if it is part of an evening outing.
