Baku's television tower is one of the skyline's useful reference points. Its tall shaft rises above the city and can be seen from several parts of the bay and the surrounding hills. From a distance, it helps you read the changing height of Baku's landscape.

It is first of all a broadcasting structure. Public access to visitor facilities is not something to assume, even if you have seen an older mention of a restaurant or an elevated view. Check directly with the operator before making a special journey for an interior visit. For a city walk, identifying it from the Boulevard or Highland Park is a simpler option.
