Baku at sunset.

Start by the Carpet Museum and lower funicular station, go up to Martyrs’ Lane and Highland Park, then continue towards the Flame Towers. Return to the Boulevard for the waterfront after dark.

Walk, with the funicular if operating. The stair alternative is steep; choose a taxi if steps are unsuitable.

Martyrs’ Lane is a memorial and cemetery: keep a quiet, respectful manner. Check the funicular before relying on it for the return trip. The Flame Towers are viewed from outside.
